On 04.18.2023, on the eve of the World Labor Protection Day, a meeting was held on the basis of the Karaganda branch of the RNIIOT between students of gr. BDD-20-3 of the Karaganda Technical University named after Abylkas Saginov with specialists of the Department of Medical and Social Expertise of the Department of the Committee of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Karaganda region. The specialist of the ITU N5 department Olga Ivanovna familiarized with the procedure for the establishment of disability and the degree of disability as a result of accidents at work, as well as on the registration of acts of medical and social expertise.
At a meeting with employees of the RNIIOT COF, the director of the branch, Ardak Tleuzhanovna Omarova, told the students about modern approaches in the field of occupational safety at enterprises, assessment of working conditions and occupational risks, and issues of legal regulation of labor protection were also raised. Students took an active part in the discussion of the rights and obligations of employees and employers.
At the end of the meeting, Ardak Tleuzhanovna noted that solutions to occupational safety issues in modern realities have acquired unprecedented relevance, and their importance is growing, therefore, specialists in the field of occupational safety and industrial safety will always be in demand.
