On 5 December, at 11.00 the second stage of the fair “Graduate – 2018” was held in the Assembly hall of the Main building of KSTU.
Aim of the fair: optimize the interaction between graduates and employers. During the event, representatives of employers met with students-graduates of different specialties from all faculties of KSTU.
The event was attended by representatives of more than a hundred of enterprises located in Akmola, Pavlodar, East Kazakhstan, Atyrau, Zhambyl, North Kazakhstan, Kostanay, Kyzylorda and Karaganda regions.
This year 1326 student graduating full-time in 37 specialties were presented on the fair.
Experience of holding the fairs in Karaganda State Technical University shows that the informational support, at the same time provide employers and their potential employees graduating from KSTU, as well as the organization of direct meetings with stakeholders are the most effective measures for employment of young specialists in the conditions of market economy.
The fair provides young professionals with the choice of future place of work and increases their employability. At the same time, potential employers have the opportunity to conduct a personal interview to assess the level of training of each applicant and motivate the interest of their alumni prospects for individual career growth.
