This year the people of Kazakhstan and the whole world will celebrate 80-th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Celebrating this sacred date, we once again realize the grandeur of the Victory over Nazism. We are proud that it was our fathers and grandfathers who were able to overcome, crush and destroy this dark force. It was the bloodiest and most brutal war in the history of mankind. It took the lives of more than twenty million people. Among them were the Kazakhs who paved the way for our happiness, our independence.
As part of the plan of events held by the military department of our university, for the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War under the motto «Uly Zhenis: Erlikke tagzym, urpaqqa ulgi»! events are held according to the approved plan. In accordance with it, from April 7 to 12, all students of the military department were shown a military-patriotic film about Kazakhstani soldiers – participants in the Great Patriotic War.
By honoring the memory of fallen soldiers, we express a sense of admiration for our great people, their heroism and labor at the front and in the rear. We bow before their feat.
The purpose of the events is to develop a sense of patriotism, love for the motherland and introduce them to such values as citizenship, historical memory and duty in future officers and sergeants.
