Yelena Khmyrova works at the department of Mine surveying and geodesy since 1988. In 1987 she graduated from KPTI majoring in “Mine Surveying”. Candidate of Technical Sciences in 25.00.16 – “Mining and Oil and Gas Geology, Geophysics, Mine Surveying and Subsoil Geometry”.
Corresponding member of NAMS RK, Honorary Worker of KSTU, Best Teacher 2014, Expert of Mining Science, “Kurmetti geodesist”, has letters of commendation from MES RK and Committee for Construction Affairs of Astana.
Author of 3 textbooks recommended by Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 18 textbooks recommended by KSTU Academic Council, 4 patents. She has more than 250 scientific papers and publications, including 12 certificates of intellectual property.
Under the transition to a three-level educational training in the field of cartography, geodesy and geoinformation technology she was a developer of educational programs: “Geodesy and Cartography”, “Digital aerial photography”, “Mine Surveying”, “Remote sensing of the Earth”.
