Moscow, Russia, November 12, 2015 – members of the unit intellectual property and science of Thomson Reuters, the leading provider of intelligent information for businesses and professionals, today announced the launch of a database of scientific publications and patents web of science in the Russian language.
Russian became the seventh language (after English, Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Portuguese, and Japanese), which is now available platform. This innovation will improve the quality of service users from CIS countries.
More than 7,000 researchers and scientists in more than 120 countries regularly use the platform web of science to access the main international databases of citation of scientific research to conduct their own research. Among them – tens of thousands of researchers in over 300 institutions in Russia (including educational institutions, research institutes and public bodies), as well as more than 300 organizations from the Republic of Kazakhstan and other CIS countries.
