At curatorial hours in the RET-19-1, RET-22-1, RET-22-2, RET-21-1 and RET-21-2 groups (coverage of 65 people) from November 7, 2022 to November 14, 2022 as an additional issue, the existing measures of state support were discussed (with reference to official information resources).
The curators of the above groups are Kaliaskarov N.B., Aldoshina O.V., Zhumanbetova M.A., Gavrilova M.A. and Esenzholov U.S. the main points of state support measures and relevant references to sources are outlined. As an example, information was provided regarding the “Damu” fund, which was established on the basis of the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 26, 1997 No. 665 “On the establishment of the Small Business Development Fund”. Fund’s main strategies include:
- Support and development of start-ups and existing entrepreneurs:
- Expansion of lending to micro-businesses, development and implementation of support tools for MFIs and credit partnerships;
- Increasing the share of coverage of operating MSMEs by the Fund’s financial programs;
- Ensuring more cost-effectiveness of supported MSMEs.
- Sustainable institutional development of the Fund:
- Attraction of funds from additional sources of financing;
- Achievement of the planned level of financial performance;
- Automation of business processes;
- Increasing the level of corporate governance.
This issue was discussed as an increase in the level of information content of students about government support measures.
