Students and teachers of the Department on March 18, 2019 were held competitions among the 1st year students of Nauryz-meirama “Togyz kumalak”, for
activation of festive mood in students, deepening of Patriotic education, training of the national game “Togyz kumalak”.
Those present at the event noted his high training. Students of the group IMT-18-1 held a festive fair, which was favourably noted by the invited guests.
The national game “Togyz kumalak” was well received by all guests, everyone played this game. Drink on the holiday of Nauryz kumys-fermented milk drink made from Mare’s milk. Traditionally, this day is congratulated with the words ” Koktem tudy!”. In Nauryz there are improvised competitions of poets-wit, which are called akyns in Kazakhstan; the holiday is not complete without national competitions, including the national struggle “kazaksha kures”, the game of logic called” Toguz kumalak “and of course horse games” Kyz-kuu “and”baiga”.
