Saginov Technical University has completed a competition for grant support for startups, the final event of which was the final STU DEMO DAY event. The competition brought together students, teachers and staff of the university, who had the opportunity to present their innovative ideas and support for their implementation.
This year, 45 projects were submitted to the competition, covering such areas as technology, education, sports, tourism, ecology and university infrastructure. 19 of the best projects reached the final and were presented to the competition committee. The participants demonstrated a high level of training and offered solutions to urgent problems in their fields.
As a result, the experts selected 10 startups that will receive grant support totaling about 30 million tenge. In addition to funding, the winners will be provided with mentoring support and access to university resources for the successful implementation of projects.
For participants, STU DEMO DAY has become not only a competition, but also a valuable experience – it is an opportunity to exchange ideas, receive feedback from experts and establish professional contacts.
The event confirmed the importance of creating conditions for the development of startups and became a significant step in the formation of a modern innovative ecosystem of the university. Saginov Technical University will continue to support initiatives aimed at developing entrepreneurship and innovation.
