Astana City Akimat, Astana Innovations JSC and MOST Business Incubator are implementing the Astana Innovations Challange – 2018 project (hereinafter referred to as AIC), within which it is planned to hold the Startup Weekend final competition of projects this year.
The main objective of the AIC project is to develop entrepreneurial potential among young developers, improve the interaction of government agencies with representatives of the business environment and the population, as well as the development of the innovation ecosystem of the city of Astana.
November 9-11, there will be a startup Weekend startup competition: “Sustainable City Development”.
Startup Weekend: “Sustainable City Development is a competition of start-up projects, where within 72 hours participants of the competition (young developers, students, entrepreneurs) and city representatives represented by the state, private and international organizations interact to create innovative start-up projects to solve various technological tasks.
Within the theme, the following areas are considered:
- Ecology;
- Recycling and disposal of waste;
- Energy efficiency;
- Urban transport;
- Renewable energy sources
The winners will receive funds for the implementation of the startup, as well as prizes from the project partners.
