In collaboration with the “Economic Investigation Department of Karaganda Region,” the Police Department of Karaganda Region, and the “Youth Resource Center” of Karaganda Region, an event called “Start with Yourself!” was held at the Karaganda Technical University named after Abylkas Saginov. This event was organized within the framework of the “Law and Order” initiative.
The event was conducted properly, providing students with information on such pressing topics as “Combating Drugs,” “Public Order,” “Ludomania,” “Financial Pyramids,” and “Droppers.”
– Our goal is not to intimidate or create fear but rather to share important information to help prevent legal violations that often occur due to ignorance, – said Captain Madina Satanova of the Central Police Department in her speech to the students.
She explained in a simple and accessible manner what administrative and criminal responsibility entails, from what age one can be held accountable, and how, in some cases, parents or legal guardians may be held liable. She also warned the youth about the serious consequences of seeking easy money.
The Head of the Control and Organization Department of the Economic Investigation Department, Lieutenant Colonel Kuat Izbanov, not only spoke about financial crimes but also presented video materials on the topic. These included information about financial pyramids, illegal gambling, and droppers.
As part of the campaign, employees of the Economic Investigation Department distributed informational flyers with a QR code for the AFM_INSIDER_BOT. Through this bot, one can report suspicions of financial crimes and learn where to turn in such situations.
In conclusion, the organizers emphasized the importance of youth participation in maintaining law and order, as well as the personal responsibility of each individual.
