Sports contest “Cheerfulness and Health”.
From September 19 to October 7, 2023, the sports contest “Cheerfulness and Health-2023” among university teaching staff, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of our university, was held in the building of the KARTU sports complex named after Abylkas Saginov.
For greater competitiveness and spectacle, it was decided to unite the mini-football teams – the team of the main building, the team of the first building, KazMIRR and FIEM, the team of the mining faculty. And in table tennis to hold competitions for the personal championship.
The format of the tournament satisfied all participants, in this regard, it is planned to hold similar competitions in the future.
Almost all the games were held in a stubborn struggle. As a result, the mini-football teams took the following places: the first place was taken by the team of the mining faculty, which won all the matches, the second place was taken by the combined team of KazMIRR and FIEM, the third place was taken by the team of the first building, the fourth place by the team of the main building.

It is worth noting that among the young teachers, experienced, regulars of university competitions took part in the same row, such as-head of the RMPI Department Imashev A.Zh. PhD, associate Professor., Tokanov D.K. candidate of Technical Sciences, expert KazMIRR., Bakirov M.K. candidate of Technical Sciences, head of the Department “Mechanics”., Zhurov V.V. Candidate of Technical Sciences. These employees of the university show a worthy example to the younger generation of scientists and university teachers.
