The general objective of EP 6B11201 – is to train specialists to organize work to ensure the requirements of life safety and environmental protection at industrial enterprises and others.
1.1 The main objectives of EP 6В11201are:
– Apply the basic provisions of the Constitution and legislation of the RK, the mechanism of interaction of substantive and procedural law in public relations and professional activities in the field of anti-corruption;
– Make calculations when designing/organizing production processes;
– Organize the production process, understanding the physical and chemical processes;
– Analyze, plan and conduct business activities of economic entities;
– To master cognitive linguocultural complexes to solve professional problems;
– Develop design documentation for the design of technical objects;
– Organize the risk management system in the sphere of occupational safety and health at industrial enterprises and other organizations;
– Organize the risk management system in the sphere of fire safety at industrial enterprises and other organizations;
– Organize the risk management system in the field of industrial safety at hazardous production facilities;
– Organize risk management system in the field of civil defense and emergency situations at industrial enterprises and other organizations;
– Organize risk management system in the field of environmental protection at industrial enterprises and other organizations.

Academic degree: Master of Technical Sciences in the field of Safety of vital activity and environmental protection
The general objective of EP 7M11201 – “Life Safety and Environmental Protection” is to train specialists with a high level of professional culture, having a civic position, able to formulate and practically solve modern scientific and practical problems, to teach in higher education institutions, to successfully carry out research and management activities; acquisition of research skills, participation in scientific events at various levels, continuation of scientific training in doctoral studies; obtaining a doctoral degree in the field of environmental protection.
The main objectives of EP 7M11201 – “Life Safety and Environmental Protection” are:
– to carry out educational activity in higher professional educational institutions on the basis of psychological and pedagogical principles
– to solve psychological problems of managerial activity;
– to possess the methodology of scientific research, planning of experiments, error theory for research work in professional activity;
– lead the development and realization of creative ideas in professional activity;
– to carry out intercultural communication in production and scientific and pedagogical activities;
– analyze the risk management system in the field of civil defense and emergencies
– analyze the reliability of technical devices and equipment to assess the risk of failures, incidents and accidents during the conduct of technological processes
– analyze man-made risks management systems and the effectiveness of measures taken to reduce them
– evaluate the completeness and sufficiency of requirements to ensure the safety of technological systems
– analyze the occupational risk management system at industrial enterprises
– monitor and analyze the state of working conditions in various industries
– assess the completeness and sufficiency of ergonomics requirements for the design of production equipment, workplace and controls
Master’s student in in the field of «Life safety and environmental protection» during the training acquires skills:
- the use of general scientific methods of conducting scientific research work;
- the ability to formalize its results in various forms of scientific products;
pedagogical activity;
- the use of foreign languages for the implementation of professional, research and educational activities.
For the master’s degree in the scientific and pedagogical direction of preparation, priority activities, besides the above, are: teaching in secondary professional and higher educational institutions, as well as a variety of scientific and technical studies.
Training is conducted both on the state order, and on a paid basis only in full-time form in Russian and state languages, by credit technology.
At present, the training of personnel in the Master’s program is carried out in two directions:
- profile
- scientific and pedagogical.
The training period for profile preparation is 1.5 years; With scientific and pedagogical training is 2 years.
Admission to the Master’s program is carried out on a competitive basis based on the results of passing two exams (a foreign language and a special discipline).
Graduates who successfully mastered educational master’s programs are prepared for training in doctoral studies.
