Cold weather is coming. It is accompanied by colds and infectious diseases: from the common flu to exotic monkeypox. At this time, it is very appropriate to take measures to prevent the occurrence and spread of infectious diseases. An important part of this work is to hold relevant conversations at the place of work and study of the population.
Recently, for this purpose, a group of specialists from the Kazybek bi district Sanitary and Epidemiological Control Department visited Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University.
At the meeting with students, main specialists of the department A.T. Omar, A.S. Satbay, I.S. Galymova, and B.A. Ramazanova spoke about the most common infectious and parasitic diseases, about the preventive measures taken to prevent their spread. They urged the students not to neglect the rules of personal hygiene, to ventilate the premises, to dress warmly in the cold, to use masks in crowded places. If one detects symptoms of an infectious disease, one should contact the doctor in a timely manner.
It is easier to prevent a disease than to treat it. One needs to remember this and, when thinking about himself, one should not forget about the people around him. It is the underestimation of the danger of a disease that leads to outbreaks, or even epidemics of diseases with the most serious consequences for human health and the economies of countries.
