- Youth of which regions can participate in the Serpin-2050 project? The project involves young people from Mangystau, Zhetysu, Kyzylorda, Zhambyl and Turkestan regions.
- Which regions accept grant holders? The host regions are Akmola, North Kazakhstan, Pavlodar, East Kazakhstan, Kostanay, Aktobe, Karaganda, West Kazakhstan, Ulytau, Abai regions.
- Are grant holders provided with dormitories? The holders of the Serpin-2050 project grant will be fully provided with dormitories.
- Are scholarships paid to grantees? But in case of deterioration of the student’s progress granting of scholarships stops. Therefore, the students of Serpin should be excellent students.
- Is it true that after graduation, grantees are provided with a job? The project provides for all ways of employing young professionals. During the training process, close relationships with employers are established. There is an opportunity to find a permanent job.
- Is it required to stay in this region after graduation and how many years you have to work? In accordance with paragraph 4 of the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 18, 2022 No. 926, they work in the regions for at least two years. - Can students who graduate from the military department serve in the army on a contract basis? - Is there a possibility of transferring from the educational institution where a student is studying under the project to another educational institution? The project grants are assigned to certain educational institutions. In case of a change of place of study, the student loses the grant.
- Are students’ travel expenses reimbursed? Yes, travel expenses of students studying under the project are paid. This is the cost of visiting their villages during the winter and summer holidays.
- What are the other requirements for Serpin students? Serpin students are obliged to succeed in their studies, be active, risky, and love their Homeland. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is appreciated.
