Scientific and educational collaboration with international partners of the Republic of Poland


From January 13 to 19, the head of the Department of «Chemistry and Chemical Technology» of the Abylkas Saginov KarTU A. Takibaeva took part in several events as part of a working visit to Poland. She was unforgettablely impressed by the meeting with the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Hugo Kollontaj Agricultural University of Krakow (Krakow); with Professor Marcin Niemiec, with whom they prepared a joint article: (Development and analysis of hydrogel soil substrates enabling control of plant root system growth // MDPI: Polymers (Q1); a visit to the Museum of the Mazovian Countryside (Sierpc) and the Krason Seedling Producers Group (Lodz). And on January 17, A. Takibaeva took part in the II International Scientific Conference “Quality Systems in Modern Agriculture from a Practical Persperctive” (Ciechanowo), together with representatives of universities in Poland, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Italy and Ukraine. The conference was organized by the Państwowa Akademia Nauk Stosowanych im. Ignacego Mościckiego w Ciechanowie, the Hugo Kollontaj Agricultural University of Krakow, and the «Green CROPS» company.

Takibaeva reported that the joint international industrial practice 1,2 for students in educational programs «Biotechnology», «Chemical technology of organic substances» in the 2023/2024 academic year has been successfully implemented. Thus, in continuation of the fulfillment of the obligations of the tripartite agreement between KarTU named after Abylkas Saginov, Hugo Kollontaj Krakow Agricultural University and the «Green CROPS» company («Agrarna AR») in the 2024/2025 academic year, students of 2-3 courses students, in the number 24 people will be sent to international industrial practice under the supervision of senior lecturer of the Department of «Chemistry and Chemical Technology» M. Kinayatov. At present, invitations have been received from the University of Poland and the «Green CROPS» company, registration is underway at the Embassy of Poland.

During the visit, partnership relations were established in the field of education and joint research in the areas of chemical technology with Professor Pitr Szatkowski of the AGH University of Science and Technology (Krakow). The professor is also expected to arrive in june of this year at KarTU named after Abylkas Saginov.
