Saginov Technical University – a university with engineering and energy at its core!


We are pleased to announce that during the meeting of the Council of Rectors of Universities of the CIS countries, an Agreement of Understanding was signed between Kazan State Energy University and Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University.

This is an important step in strengthening international academic cooperation, aimed at developing joint educational programs, scientific research, and exchanges between faculty and students.

We are proud that our university holds strong positions in training specialists for the energy sector of the CIS. Today, Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University is known for its expertise in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, transport, IT, and mining.

Research in the field of energy conservation and sustainable technologies is conducted at the university. Our graduates successfully work at key energy enterprises in the region and country.

The delegation from Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University participated in the Kazan International Energy Forum “EnergoPROM-25,” which brings together leading experts, scientists, and representatives of the energy sector. The report “Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University: Prospects for the Development of International Cooperation,” presented by the Chairman of the Board – Rector of the university, Saule Sagyntayeva, sparked great interest among forum participants.

According to another participant of the forum, Head of the Department of “Energy Systems” Yelena Neshina, the forum in general left a strong impression on everyone.

The forum’s program covered relevant topics such as modern challenges and trends in energy, innovations and sustainable development, international cooperation in training engineering specialists, as well as presentations and discussions with industry leaders and universities of the CIS.

We are confident that the agreements reached will serve as the foundation for large-scale and effective projects in the interests of all regions.
