On May 24, 2023, the teaching staff of the Department of History of Kazakhstan held a regional scientific and practical round table “Abylkas Saginov and Alashtyn ak Zholy” dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Karaganda Technical University named after Abylkas Saginov. Event moderator: candidate of historical sciences, associate professor Kasimova S. S.The purpose of the round table: to study the life and work of the outstanding scientist Abylkas Saginov, his invaluable contribution to the formation and development of Karaganda Technical University. To reveal the place of the Alash intelligentsia in the personal development of A. Saginov, the importance of generational continuity, and the education of patriotism. At the beginning, the participants of the event and invited guests took part in an excursion to the university museum. Further work of the round table proceeded according to the following plan:
