8 October, the final stage of the Republican action ‘Road to school’ was held in the boarding-school No.22 at Lokomotivnaya 119. The aim of the action was to provide support to pupils of the city schools from needy and large families, children-orphans and children left without parental care, during preparation for the beginning of the school year.
The first stage was held in Karaganda State Technical University, which was attended by students and faculty of the University. The office supplies was collected for orphans.
At this stage, the volunteers of the Youth charitable organization ‘Akniyet’ and activists of KSTU held a charity concert, collected funds from which were transferred to the boarding-school No.22, for the purchase of office supplies.
The concert consisted of entertaining show-program, competitions and prizes.
