On April 20-21, 2022, on the basis of the Kazakh University of Economics, Finance and International Trade (Nur-Sultan), the Republican Subject Student Olympiad was held in the educational program 6B06101 – “Information Systems”.
The purpose of the Olympiad: disclosure of creative abilities, selection and support of the most talented and gifted students; assistance in the formation of the intellectual potential of students; involvement of students and young scientists in solving scientific problems of our time; development of interest in scientific activity.
The Olympiad was held in 3 disciplines: “Databases in information systems”, “Algorithms, data structures and programming”, “Computer networks”. The tasks consisted of theoretical and practical parts (Operating system: Windows; programming languages: С++, C#, Java, Python, SQL).
The first team place was taken by a team of students of the Department of ICS KarTU: Kim Leonid, Amirkhanov Akezhan, Tsoy Vladislav. All students of group IS-19-3 curator Kogay G.D. Team leaders from the university: Senior Lecturer Abildaeva G.B. and PhD Tomilov A.N.
It must be noted that the student Kim Leonid Alekseevich takes the 3rd place in the individual championship. Kim L.A. is also the winner of the 2021 subject Olympiad and the winner of the qualifying rounds of 2021 and 2022.
