Within the framework of the Science Week in Kazakhstan, on April 13-14, the Republican Student Scientific Conference “Contribution of youth science to the implementation of the Strategy “Kazakhstan-2050”, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the University, was held at the Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University.
The conference was attended by students and undergraduates of 82 domestic and foreign universities. Moscow Polytechnic University, St. Petersburg State University, Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University, Tomsk Polytechnic University (Russia), Yanka Kupala Grodno State University (Belarus), Bukhara Engineering and Technical University (Uzbekistan) were represented from foreign universities. Students of L.N. Gumilyov ENU, Nazarbayev University, Suleyman Demirel University, Karaganda Buketov University and others presented their reports on the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The conference was opened with a plenary session and then the work of the conference continued in sections that covered such topical areas as:
- energy and energy conservation;
- IT and Smart technologies;
- automation and robotics;
- information and communication technologies;
- geotechnologies;
- geology and exploration of mineral deposits;
- mechanical engineering;
- innovative technologies in metallurgy and materials science;
- transport logistics;
- economics;
- chemical and biological sciences;
- architecture and construction.
The work of the conference allowed to create a platform for the further development of student science and discussion of key issues in the field of industrial and innovative development of the country.
At the closing of the conference, the results were summed up, the best participants were awarded diplomas and letters of thanks.
