The Republican Processing Forum, “My specialty is my future”, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Abylkas Saginov KarTU, was held among students of technical universities for their self-realization, professional and creative development in two stages:
Stage 1 – online format (selection, competition for writing an essay on the topic “My specialty is my future”);
Stage 2 – offline format. The best participants who scored the most points of the qualifying first round at the invitation of the NJSC Abylkas Saginov KarTU were invited to participate in the second stage of the Forum held at the “Business Scills Park” NJSC Abylkas Saginov KarTU on March 16-17, 2023.
The purpose of the event is the organization and exchange of views, familiarization with promising research in the field of mineral processing.
On March 16, 2023, at the opening ceremony of the Republican Forum of Concentrators, with an introductory speech on behalf of the Chairman of the Board – Rector of Abylkas Saginov KarTU Marat Kenesovich Ibatov, Vice-Rector for Research Rakishev Asset Karigulovich spoke and wished the organizers and participants success and fruitful work.
After the solemn opening of the Forum, pitch sessions and the Enrichment of the 21st Century competition took place.
In the pitch-sessions, students of NJSC Abylkas Saginov KarTU, Satbayev University, NJSC “East Kazakhstan Technical University named after D. Serikbayev”, NJSC “Aktobe Regional University named after. K. Zhubanov”, as well as guests of the Forum – heads of enterprises and leading experts:
- Bolat Fattahovich Ramazanov – General Director of TOMS Industrial LLP.
- Akimbekov Aslan Nurlanovich – head of the production and technical department of MCIGroup LLP.
- Elmira Samatovna Kenzhebekova – General Director of SiliconMining LLP.
- Alsherov Yerlan Babakhanovich – General Director of NITSUgol LLP.
- Zeinullin Raiymbek – ore preparation process engineer of Weir Minerals LLP.
At the end of the day, the Concentrator of the XXI Century competition was held, where the teams were evaluated by a competent jury, consisting of leading experts in the field of mineral processing.
March 17, 2023 for students of Satbayev University, NAO “East Kazakhstan Technical University named after D. Serikbayev”, NAO “Aktobe Regional University named after. K. Zhubanov” of the qualifying first round of the Forum, an excursion was organized around the campus of NJSC Abylkas Saginov KarTU. Visited:
- Exhibition hall of the department “Architecture and Design”, represented by the best student works for the entire period of the existence of the department;
- Ethnographic museum at the department “Kazakh language and culture”. The main motto of the museum: “Know the language through culture”;
- Testing laboratory of the engineering profile “Integrated development of mineral resources”, Research Institute “New Materials”, NOC “Bioengineering” and 5 educational building, where modern equipment in the field of mineral processing, chemical technology of organic substances and biotechnology was demonstrated.
At the end of the day, the results were summed up.

For sponsorship in holding the Republican Enrichment Forum, letters of thanks were presented to the guests of the Forum – heads of enterprises and leading specialists.
In honor of the closing of the Republican Enrichment Forum, a Creative Concert was held. One of the brightest performances was noted by the poet-improviser, undergraduate of the department of chemical and chemical engineering Ospanov Bekarys; performance of the popular work of the Kazakh educator Abay Kunanbayev “Gylym tappay maktanba” by the senior teacher of the department of HiCT Mukarkhan K.
