On November 29, 2023, in the library named after N.V. Gogol (S. Erubaev St. 44) at 14.00 a storytelling session “Uly Dala Gulamasy” was held dedicated to the 85th anniversary of Temirgali Abildaevich Koketaev, Doctor of Physical Sciences, Professor, organized by the Department of History of KarTU named after A. Saginov and the library named after N.V. Gogol. The name of Professor, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Temirgali Koketaev, without exaggeration, is known throughout the world. In 1999, the International Biographical Center of the University of Cambridge (Great Britain) awarded our fellow countryman the title “Outstanding Person of the 20th Century,” confirmed by a silver medal, and two years later awarded the title “International Scientist of the Year” with a Gold Medal and a diploma. Storytelling was opened by the Head of the Department of Internal Policy, Nurlan Bikenov. The head of the Department of History of Kazakhstan, Temirgaliev K.A., made a congratulatory speech. Director of the Regional Technical Archive. Students of Sib group -23-3-4-5 made presentations about the life and work of T.A. Koketaev. Student of Sib group-23-5 Smadiyar Usen performed the famous kuy “Adai” on the dombra. Koketaev T.A. student gr. dedicated her creative work. Sib 23-5 Asilkhan Ulmeken. Koketaev T.A. briefly told about himself and answered students’ questions. The organizer Oshanov N.Z. thanked the guests and students, presented a traditional shapan on behalf of the department, and wished health to the great scientist.
