On 11/25/2023, the Department of History of Kazakhstan of Karaganda Technical University named after Abylkas Saginov held an annual Olympiad in the discipline “History of Kazakhstan” among first-year students of all specialties. Organizing Committee of the event: Temirgaliev K.A. – Head of the department. IK, Ph.D., associate professor; jury members – Kasimova S.S. – Ph.D., Associate professor, Zhumakanova F.D. – teacher, M.G.
The Olympiad consisted of 2 rounds:
1 round – writing an essay.
Round 2 – completion of test tasks.
Traditionally, the essay topics were given in advance:
- Sultanmakhmut Toraighyrov – poet, educator, democrat
- 300 years since the event “Aktaban shubyryndy, Alakol sulama”
- The Kazakh newspaper is a harbinger of freedom
