In April 2024 “Zhoshy Institute” headed by the director Sabit Zhaksylykov, in the holy city of Turkestan held an international conference “Golden Horde and its heritage” dedicated to the 800th anniversary of the Ulus Zhoshy. Scientists from many countries of Europe, Asia, Turkey, Africa, Egypt, China, Russia, etc. took part in the International Conference. Many new sources were provided, with which prominent young scientists spoke. At the conference from Karaganda, took part senior lecturer of the department of “History of Kazakhstan” “Kartu named after Abylkas Saginov” Oshanov N.Z. At one section I made a report on “Ethnonym of the word Mongol and its meaning in the Golden Horde”. “Ulus Zhoshy” – played an important geopolitical role in the world space, from which follows a huge interest of scientists of many countries to its history and heritage. Continuation of the research and popularization of the heritage of the “Golden Horde” was the outbound republican historical and ethnographic expedition “Talas -Ұlytau – Saraychik” organized in September 2024 by the regional historical and local history museum of Karaganda. Karaganda with the assistance of the Regional Akimat, Department of Culture, Archives and Documentation “Ulus Zhoshy – 800 years”. Scientists, archeologists, artists, ethnologists, journalists, local historians, bloggers and a film crew, about 30 people in total, were invited. Thanks to the support of the Abylkas Saginov Kartu administration, I had the opportunity to see with my own eyes many sights and monuments from Karaganda-Taraz, Turkestan-Aral-Kyzyl Orda-Ulytau-Aktobe-Atyrau-Sarayshyk-Astana. This expedition was attended by: – Turkey – Choban Akayal Gulshah – archaeologist, RSFSR Yakutia Sakha Eli – Mikhailova Saina Andreyevna – archaeologist-ethnologist, a direct descendant of Zhoshykhan local historian Asylbek Altynov. According to the results of the international conference, historical and ethnographic expedition, unknown sources were introduced into circulation, the development of a tourist route began, an expedition covering the entire territory of the Golden Horde, including Eastern Europe, is planned. New goals for archeologists, researchers for the coming years are set.
