CONTACTS

The purpose of the Department of Industrial Transport named after Prof. A.N. Daniyarov is to provide educational services for high-quality training of transport specialists with an innovative style of thinking and capable of independently solving problems in the field of transport based on the systematic use of knowledge.

The Department of “Industrial Transport named after Prof. A.N. Daniyarov” provides training in the following areas:
Bachelor of Transport in the educational program 6B11301 “Organization of transportation, traffic and operation of transport”. During their studies, bachelors of transport acquire skills:

  • independent development of new production technologies;
  • determination of operating costs, cost of production, profit;
  • carrying out the decomposition of the goals of the system (enterprise, organization, workshop and site) and choosing effective methods and technologies to achieve the goals;
  • analysis of the state, technology and level of production organization;
  • use of computer and information technology;
  • design and calculation of loading and unloading equipment or its individual units and mechanisms.

Bachelor of Industrial Transport under the Educational Program 6B07210 “Industrial Transport in the Mining Industry” During their studies, industrial transport bachelor’s students acquire skills in:

  • conducting economic information analysis, processing, and organizing business activities;
  • finding effective technical solutions to supply workplaces with the required amount of clean air and organizing efficient ventilation management for underground mining operations;
  • providing technical supervision of mining and blasting operations during operational exploration, extraction of solid minerals, construction, and operation of underground facilities, as well as directly managing processes at production sites, including in emergency situations;
  • selecting mechanization tools, technologies, and labor organization methods for mineral deposit development;
  • choosing types of transportation for various production conditions; selecting transport and technological schemes for open-pit and underground mining, as well as for plants and factories;
  • applying the rules for the technical operation of railways in practice, using signaling and communication equipment, and preparing documentation in case of traffic safety violations.

Master of Transport in the educational program 7M11301 “Organization of transportation, traffic and operation of transport”. During their studies, Masters of transport acquire skills:

  • using the general scientific methodology of conducting research work, the ability to design its results in various forms of scientific products;
  • teaching activities;
  • the use of foreign languages for professional, research, and teaching activities.

The Department of “Industrial Transport named after prof. A.N. Daniyarov” carries out development in promising areas:
1. Training of students and undergraduates under the Academic Mobility Program (exchange of students and undergraduates with foreign universities).
2. Conducting internships for students and undergraduates abroad.
3. Attracting foreign scientists to give lectures on the disciplines of the specialty.
4. Referral of the teaching staff of the department to advanced training courses abroad.
