In Astana the XVII Presidential Olympiad in subjects of the natural and mathematical cycle has endeв. The Presidential Olympiad was held in the capital from November 20 to 22. In total, 190 students of the graduating classes of schools in Kazakhstan took part in it.
Following the results of the Olympiad, 9 winners received rector’s educational grants from leading universities in Kazakhstan: SDU, Astana IT University and Saginov Technical University.
Educational grants from our university have received:
- Artem Mikhailov, a student of the Ybyrai Altynsarin Lyceum School in Karaganda, Karaganda region;
- Amir Alizhan, a student of a specialized regional boarding school for gifted children, North Kazakhstan Region;
- Alexey Kim, a student of the Kanysh Satpayev Gymnasium in Karaganda, Karaganda region;
- Amina Kuanyshkyzy, a student of the city Kazakh lyceum school of the Department of Education of Ayagoz district, Abai region.
The organizers of the Olympiad – the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republican Scientific and Practical Center “Daryn” – express their gratitude to Saule Sagintayeva, Chairman of the Management Board-Rector of the Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University, for the support provided in holding the Presidential Olympiad.
