On February 10, 12, 14, 18, and 19 of this year, the second phase of the implementation of Planned Activities for Combating Corruption and Promoting Integrity among students and faculty members was carried out at Abylkas Saginov KarTU.
The Board Member – Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, B. Nusupbekov, together with the Anti-Corruption Compliance Service, held meetings with 2nd- and 3rd-year students and the university’s teaching staff, covering a total of 1,452 participants.
During these events, key issues related to academic integrity as a foundation for the university’s successful operation and the improvement of educational service quality were discussed. Additionally, participants were informed about the university’s efforts in implementing the state anti-corruption policy, fostering “zero tolerance” for corruption, and the importance of its prevention.
In particular, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs urged students to reach out to him directly regarding issues related to the educational process, including obtaining additional competencies, such as the introduction of special courses in economics, psychology, and other fields. During the event, it was emphasized that every student should make the most of the opportunities provided for gaining knowledge during their studies.
In conclusion, it was noted that students are well-informed about the core principles of academic integrity and the fight against corruption.
