April 19, 2017 students of KSTU took part in the international action “For a world without drugs”. The action was held simultaneously in all regions of Kazakhstan. Also, similar actions will be held in all countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
The action was initiated by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, who made such an offer in June 2016 during the meeting of the heads of SCO member states.
The main goal of the action is the prevention of drug addiction among children and youth, the promotion of a healthy lifestyle.
Within the framework of the action, KSTU students with the help of flashmobs visually and affordably showed the youth the negative consequences of drug use, as well as the tragic life of such people.
Also in the framework of the event were demonstration speeches of the Special Forces, representatives of ethnocultural associations of the region and other creative teams.
