The ITB Chair held a round table dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the Hero of the Soviet Union Alia Moldagulova.

The round table introduced students to the life and exploits of the Hero of the Soviet Union Alia Moldagulova, gave an idea of the notions of “feat” and “heroism”, expanded and deepened students’ knowledge about the Great Patriotic War, about the exploits of Soviet soldiers.

Aliya Moldagulova was born on April 20, 1924 in the village of Bulak, Khobdinsky district, Aktobe region. In 1942 she entered the RybinskAviotechnicum, studied for three months and submitted an application to the military registration and enlistment office with a request to send it to the active army. So the girl from the village Bulak became a cadet of the sniper school. Hit the front in August 1943.

During the Great Patriotic War, Alia served in the 54th separate rifle brigade of the 22nd Army of the 2nd Baltic Front. On her account 78 destroyed soldiers and officers of the enemy. On June 4, 1944, Corporal Aliya Moldagulova was posthumously awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union. Her name is a symbol of loyalty and service to the native people.

During the years of the Great Patriotic War in Kazakhstan, 12 rifle divisions, 4 cavalry divisions, 7 rifle brigades, about 50 separate regiments and battalions of various troops were formed.

Kazakhstanis showed genuine patriotism on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War. Thousands of Kazakhstanis were active participants in the partisan and resistance movements.

 

About 500 Kazakhstanis were awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union. Among them are two Kazakh girls A. Moldagulova and M. Mametova.

Through time, those who never return will speak with us. It’s the duty of the living to never forget that terrible war, those who saved the Motherland, the Soviet people from German slavery.

 

The peculiarity was that the event was held in 3 languages – Kazakh, Russian and English. Active participants of the event were awarded certificates.

Purpose: to form students’ patriotic position, a sense of historical memory, hatred of war, enslavement. To cultivate love for the motherland, pride in the victory of the Kazakh people in the Great Patriotic War.

Tasks:
