On October 8, 2015 at 11.00 am in the Main building of KSTU will open an Authorized Training Centre ” KSTU — Schneider Electric”.
The idea of opening the Centre has arisen in the University over a year ago. The initiative was endorsed by the Ministry of national education, higher education and science of France, and Schneider Electric Fund.
As a result of systemic cooperation between LLP “Schneider electric- Kazakhstan” and KSTU was taken the decision to open an Authorized Training Centre ” KSTU — Schneider Electric” in the laboratories of energy and automation training specialists, advanced training of personnel and joint scientific research.
At the Centre, with funds allocated by the MES for the implementation of the new educational programs of specialized master “Robotics. Management system” training for the SPIID-2, lab-created automation in metallurgy. For this purpose we developed a plan for retraining of teachers of the University , and the laboratory is equipped with modern equipment of “Schneider Electric” and educational material.
The Ministry of national education, higher education and research of France gives this project high priority, so as part of the delegation arriving at the opening of the Centre and headed by Ambassador of France in Kazakhstan Mr. Francis Etienne, representatives of the Ministry, the Foundation of “Schneider Electric” and other officials. The opening ceremony will be attended by senior officials of Akimat of Karaganda region, representatives of the backbone enterprises of Central Kazakhstan.
Creation of innovative centers in the field of scientific research, engineering and advanced training of specialists in priority areas that are in demand in the real sector of the economy, is one of the most important directions of development of educational and research activities of the University and participation in the implementation of the Plan of the nation “100 concrete steps on the implementation of five institutional reforms” of the head of state N.A.Nazarbayev.
