On the eve of the May holidays, Satbayev University hosted the second stage of the republican subject Olympiad in the disciplines “Fundamentals of Mining”, “Physics of Rocks” and “Mining Technology”.
The best students from 12 universities and institutes of the republic
Kazakhstan, students majoring in Mining Engineering, came to the Olympiad to show their professional knowledge in the mining sector of the country.
The Olympiad included tests in Olympiad disciplines and computational and graphic works. The results were evaluated by the faculty of the Mining and Metallurgical Institute. A.O. Baikonurova and representatives of production.
According to the results of a stubborn struggle among young future miners, the 3rd place from Abylkas Saginov KarTU was taken by a student of the GD-20-1 group Kaz Turysbekov Raiymbek Askarbekovich, who received a cash prize of 20,000 tenge.
