on the Literary drawing room
dedicated to the 185th anniversary of Chokan Valikhanov
On November 5, 2020, teachers of the Department of Russian language and culture held an event “Literary lounge” on the theme “great scientist, orientalist, historian, geographer, folklorist, educator, orientalist Chokan Valikhanov”, dedicated to the 185th anniversary of the scientist”.
Responsible teachers: head.the Department Ospanova B. R., Kasenova N. A. Timokhina T. V., Akynzhanov A. A., Azimbaeva J. A., Tazhibaeva S. M., Kabanov A. B.
The remote (online) form of participation in the event on the Microsoft Teams platform (code — u79du2a) allowed to reach more than 120 participants from among the first-year students of the University.
During the event, teachers set the following goals:
- Training:
– to form knowledge about the life, work and scientific and educational activities of Chokan Valikhanov;
– expand the horizons of students; instill interest in learning languages and the history of their country;
– introduce to the cultural heritage of the great son of the Kazakh people, lead to an understanding of the role of Chokan Valikhanov in the history of the Kazakh people, his significance as a scientist and citizen.
- Developing:
– develop search and research skills of students: use reference, memoir, documentary literature; analyze and summarize information, draw conclusions;
– develop students ‘ speaking skills, creativity, and critical thinking;
- Educational:
– to educate on the example of Chokan Valikhanov’s life a sense of pride and love for the Motherland, Patriotic feelings; moral qualities of the individual: respect for elders, respect for universal values and cultural traditions of society;
The main objectives of the event include:
– development of students ‘ communication skills;
– expanding students ‘ horizons, interest in learning languages and the history of their country;
– promoting patriotism through the study of literary heritage of the people; involvement of students in socially useful activities, in strengthening the moral values of “Mangilik El” and “Rouhani gear”.
Composite event consisted of two parts:
1) the Information part, which includes material about the life and activities of CH. Valikhanov, which was prepared by students:
– Yertay Dinara, a student of VT-20-1, told about the life of Chokan Valikhanov
– Eshchanova Ainali, a student of the nd-20-2 group, introduced the participants to the scientific activities of the scientist.
– Anel dzhashibekova, a student of Met-20-1, prepared an interesting presentation about Chokan Valikhanov’s friends and associates.
– Toleukhalym Islam, a student of APU-20-1 made a presentation “on the memory of noble descendants to Chokan Valikhanov”.
2) the Practical part, which consisted of a literary quiz “on the roads of life of Chokan Valikhanov”, which included 47 questions on pre-proposed blocks •
* life and activities of CH. Valikhanov.
- Travel to Issyk-Kul, Kul’dzha and in the expedition to Kashgar.
* Works of the scientist (philosophical views, literary creativity, ethno-cultural heritage).
Students who took an active part in the event and gave a large number of correct answers in the quiz were awarded with diplomas and certificates:
the 1st degree Diploma was awarded to: student GD-20-3 Komek Ansar and student S-20-1 shynkeev Ramazan.
The 2nd degree diploma was awarded to: a student of the Met-20-1 Zhumatova Aruzhan and a student of the is-20-1 Turar Alikhan.
The diploma of 3 degrees – the student gr. C-20-1 Dyurgerov Elaman and student of gr. APU-20-1 Kasimova Damir.
Certificates for active participation in conducting Literary salon noted students: Ertay Dinar (gr.W-20-1), Asanova Ainali (gr.ND-20-2), Jasybekov anel (gr.Met-20-1), Toleugali Islam (gr. APU-20-1).
In the opinion of the participants of the Literary living room, the life of the extraordinarily gifted, talented and brave Explorer, who passionately loves his Homeland, his people, full of interesting adventures, energy, and hard work. It is necessary to learn life lessons from the example of Chokan Valikhanov’s biography, acquaintance with his brilliant polemical gift and progressive philosophical ideas.
