Every year the Higher Mathematics Department takes part in the “Letter to Ded Moroz” campaign. For the third year in a row, we congratulate the boy Volkov Gordey, who is only 5 years old and has been battling a serious illness called Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia for four years of his little life. This year he wrote a letter to Ded Moroz.
He can’t write yet, so he drew the skates he wants as a present from Ded Moroz.
On 27 December 2021, the staff of our department made his dream come true and gave him a pair of skates.
The staff of our department have pledged to teach him how to skate on these skates.
