In honor of the 70th anniversary of the Karaganda Technical University named after Abylkas Saginov, on the World Day of Labor Protection on 04/28/2023, the Department of Mine Aerology and Labor Protection opened the laboratory “Industrial Safety”.
On behalf of the university administration, the Executive Director of the Karaganda Technical University named after Abylkas Saginov, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor A.Z. Isagulov made a welcoming speech.
This laboratory will allow for high-quality training and research in the field of industrial safety and labor protection. For this purpose, over the past two years, the university management has purchased modern devices and equipment for a total of 40 million tenge, as well as computer and office equipment for the amount of 15 million tenge.
The opening of the laboratory was attended by representatives of such enterprises as “Maker” LLP, “Kazakhmys Corporation” LLP, “Kazakhmys Maintenance Services” LLP, “ArcelorMittal Temirtau” JSC, “Kazprom Engineering” LLP, “Kagandy Su” LLP, “Kazakhmys Smelting” LLP, “Orken” LLP, “Bastau Expert” LLP”.
