International cooperation
As part of international cooperation, the departments of the Faculty of Mining collaborate with universities and organizations from both near and far abroad. The main partners include:
- State Geoinformation and Land Management of Baden-Württemberg,
- Beit University of Applied Sciences in Berlin,
- South Federal University,
- Lomonosov Moscow State University,
- Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov,
- Tashkent State Technical University named after I. Karimov, and others (joint publications, internships, participation in “Saginov Readings,” foreign consultants).
Every year, the departments of the faculty invite foreign scholars with a high Hirsch index from renowned universities such as the Ostrava Technical University (Czech Republic), Poznan University of Technology (Poland), Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (Ukraine), the Center for Russian and Central Asian Mineral Research (Russia), and more.
Faculty students and master’s degree students annually present over 100 reports at the Republican Student Scientific and Technical Conference “The Contribution of Youth Science to the Implementation of the Strategy ‘Kazakhstan-2050,'” which is held at Karaganda Technical University named after Abay K. Saginov. Additionally, faculty members, doctoral candidates, and master’s students actively participate in various international conferences and forums in countries such as Kazakhstan, Russia, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, and others.
