The Karaganda Technical University has built an effective system for professional development, personal development and disclosure of the creative potential of students. Work in this direction is carried out by the Department of Youth Policy.
The Department of Youth Policy is a structural subdivision of the university, whose main tasks are the implementation of the state youth policy and the organization of educational work with students.
The Department includes the Center for Social and Legal Development and the Center for Creative Development.
The Department oversees the issues of crime prevention, the formation of integrity and a healthy lifestyle, the organization of accommodation and leisure in dormitories, student self-government, the development of volunteer and debate movement.
