Education Content Requirements
The structure of the doctoral studies program contains two equivalent components: educational and scientific, which determine the content of education, and reflects their relationship, measurement and accounting.
The doctoral studies program contains:
1) theoretical training, including the study of the cycle of basic and major disciplines;
2) practical training of doctoral students: various types of professional practices, scientific internships;
3) scientific-research (experimental research) work, including the implementation of a doctoral dissertation;
4) mid-term and end-of-course assessments
The implementation of educational programs is carried out on the basis of educational complexes of the specialty and disciplines. The form, structure and order of development of educational and methodical complexes of specialties and disciplines are determined by the organization of education independently.
Accounting for the labor intensity of all types of work is carried out according to the volume of material mastered and is measured in credits, which are units of measurement of the workload of doctoral students and teachers needed to achieve specific learning outcomes. At the same time, there is an accumulative credit system that takes into account loans mastered at previous levels of education.
At the «entrance», the doctoral student must have all the prerequisites necessary for mastering the relevant professional doctoral curriculum. The list of necessary prerequisites is determined by the higher education institution independently.
In the absence of the necessary prerequisites, the doctoral student is allowed to master them on a fee basis. In this case, doctoral studies begin after full mastering by the pre-doctoral student.
The results of the research of a doctoral candidate should be published in scientific, scientific, analytical and scientific and practical publications in accordance with the Rules for the award of academic degrees and academic titles approved by order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan on March 31, 2011 No. 127.
