Description of the programme:
Scholarship Eurasian programme of students exchange (Global UGRAD) 2012-2013 in Eurasia and Central Asia- it is a programme of the Bureau of educational and cultural programmes of State Department of the USA. UGRAD programme gives opportunity for full-time students of universities from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, The Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, The Ukraine and Uzbekistan to study for one academic year without getting a degree at university or college of the USA. All participants are selected on the base of open competition.
Students of 1,2,3 and 4th* courses can participate in the programme (*compulsory term – after return from the programme student must have at least one semester till getting diploma of higher education)

All participants of the programme:
Attend classes of full-time course at university or college of the USA during one academic year;
Will devote 20 or more hours for volunteer work in the city of residence in the USA during the second term;
Will pass professional study placement during the first term
Programme provides full funding and offers:
Support to get U.S. J-1 visa
Payment of the travel from native city to responding university in the USA and back
