13.02.2024 – “Development of mineral deposits” Department of the Mining Faculty held a Faculty Week, which was attended by the KMIC, the Gabiden Mustafin School (total number – 20 students).
The lecturer of the department conducted an excursion around the methane laboratory, showed the participants of the event devices for the mining industry. In a scientific experiment, these devices determine the properties of rocks and their characteristics, etc.
The methane laboratory perform experiments on “Methane Gas”, which is a problem in coal-fired plants. Also there are determined the samples of minerals for gas content and their quantities.
During the meeting, the issues of admission to the university were discussed with the presentation and video clips about the KSU.
