On 12.02.2024, the Department of Surveying and Geodesy of the Faculty of Mining held a Faculty Week, which was attended by Secondary School No. 12 (Sortirovka), Aktobe Secondary School No. 12 (Bukhar-Zhyrau district). Familiarization with the work on aerial photography of the earth with the help of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). In the laboratory there was carried out cameral work on the processing of aerial photographs taken by the unmanned aerial vehicles.
During the meeting the issues of admission to the university were discussed. Slide show and video on educational programs were shown. The meeting was attended by 20 people.
