On October 29, as part of career guidance work at the Department of Geology and Exploration of Mineral Deposits, an excursion was held for participants in the Republican competition of scientific projects in the natural and mathematical direction organized by the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Chemistry and Biology. During the excursion, participants learned about the history of the department of the State Metallurgical Institute, visited the geological museum, where the head. department Isataeva F.M., senior teacher Lee E.S., teachers Tebaeva A.Yu. and Baidauletova I.V. and responsible for ERP Ilyasheva M.S. talked about various minerals, rocks, and educational practices that take place at SOL Polytechnic. The students got acquainted with the mineralogical collections that are presented in the geological museum.
