The educational event took place on 17 November at 10.55 am in Building 1, 421 classroom. The event was attended by more than 50 students, as well as teachers of the Department of Foreign Languages.
The history of the country plays a key role in the formation of national identity and understanding of modernity. One of the important stages in the history of Kazakhstan is the period of Alash Orda, which had a significant impact on the formation of national consciousness. The educational event “From Alash Orda to Independence” provides students with a unique opportunity to delve deeper into the history of their country.
The event began with a discussion of the Alash Orda party and its contribution to the history of Kazakhstan. Students discussed key events and personalities that played a role in shaping this period. Students were then given the opportunity to express their knowledge and questions, which facilitated an interactive exchange of views.
Student Musabekov Alisher under the guidance of teacher Amangeldina G.A. made a presentation on key figures and events in the history of the Alash Orda. This stage of the event allowed the participants not only to deepen their knowledge, but also to develop their public speaking skills.
The teacher Ifatulina A.G. conducted a quiz, during which students tested their knowledge of the Alash Orda and the history of Kazakhstan. The questions were varied, covering key events and personalities.
In order to immerse the students even deeper into the context of history, the students of group C-23-1 under the guidance of teacher G.M. Magauina organised a theatrical performance portraying Alikhan Bokeykhanov, thus showing all the torments of that time.
Then there was a creative competition. Creation of own coat of arms became a creative and artistic element of the event. Students drew coats of arms reflecting their understanding of important aspects of the history of the Alash Orda and presented their work, justifying their choice of symbols and colours.
The final stage included a review of films and documentaries related to the topic. Students discussed the films they had watched on the topic, their influences on their perception of history.
All these stages were designed to ensure that the event was not only informative, but also interesting and engaging for the students. As a result, they not only learnt about important periods of their country’s history, but also developed skills in teamwork, analysis and public speaking.
The Alash Orda, created in 1917 amidst national upheaval and unrest, was the first attempt to establish an independent state in Kazakhstan. The Alash Orda sought national unity, harmony between different ethnic groups and the establishment of democratic institutions. Despite its short existence, the activities of the Alash Orda left an indelible mark on the history of Kazakhstan, being an important stage on the road to national self-determination and independence.
