Representatives of Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University as part of the Kazakh delegation took part in the world-famous exhibition PDAC-2024, which was held in Toronto (Canada).
The PDAC exhibition is a leading event for specialists in the field of exploration and mining, which is attended by up to 30,000 representatives from more than 130 countries.
Within the framework of PDAC-2024 our university took part in the “Day of Kazakhstan”, where it made a presentation on its educational, scientific and educational activities, as well as achievements in world rankings.
The Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University delegation also actively participated in various events, including the official opening ceremony of the Kazakhstan National Pavilion at PDAC-2024, the Kazakhstan-Canada Business Council (KCBC) business reception, and online meetings with representatives of the Canadian Bureau for International Education and Global Affairs Canada.
Representatives from our university held meetings with the Director of International Relations at the University of Waterloo and the Vice Chancellor for International Relations at McMaster University to promote international cooperation.
The University’s participation in PDAC-2024, CWSU has opened new perspectives for the University in the field of international cooperation with leading Canadian universities and strengthened its position in the global arena of scientific and educational initiatives.
