For the purpose to learn the English language, culture and tradition of English-speaking countries College of Innovative Technologiesthe 1st of November held celebrations of the costume event-Halloween. Students of the college dressed in costumes went through the chairs: “Russian language and culture”, “Kazakh language and culture”, “Foreign languages”, “Confucius Institute”, where teachers assessed them on a 5-point scale. Also in the hall on the first floor of 1 building on the decorated tables students of the college represented traditional dishes, which are prepared for this holiday. Everyone could taste and appreciate the work of students. At the end of the holiday, the teaching staff of the college summarized all the balls received for the costume and for the dish and the winners were identified by the results of the greatest number of points scored.
In this way we wanted to attract college students to learn English, get acquainted with the traditions and customs of English-speaking countries and open their mind.
