In the framework of the implementation of the “Affiliate program “Newton – al-Farabi” British Council jointly with JSC “Science Fund” announce a call for applications for participation in four contests
- Institutional linkages: grants in the amount of from 15 to 90 million tenge for the development of over two years of research and innovation partnerships between institutions in the UK and Kazakhstan.
Research links:
- Grants to conduct joint seminars with researchers in the UK and Kazakhstan.
- Short-term scientific training for 3-6 months in UK institutions.
- Mobility program for post-doctoral students – researchers from Kazakhstan to conduct research from 9 months to 2 years in UK institutions.
Applications are accepted in the following areas:
– Energy
– Health and welfare
– Agricultural technology
– Ecology and environment
– Food and water
– The ability to recover after natural disasters
