The process of visiting the museum of KarTU named after A. Saginov by first-year students continued at the ASF. Students of the educational program “Architecture” were the first to visit our museum. Students of the group Arch 23-2 (curator Kishenova A. Yu.) shared their impressions after getting acquainted with the history of the university. They said that their knowledge of the history of the university was superficial. Now their knowledge of the history of the university has been systematized and has become deeper.
Students of the group Arch 24-6 (curator Khmelnitskaya O. M.) really liked the successes of the university in the 70s of the last century:
- On February 18, 1976, the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR awarded the Karaganda Polytechnic Institute with the “Order of the Red Banner of Labor” for the successes achieved in training specialists for the national economy and carrying out scientific research in the ninth five-year plan.
- In 1979, the Central Committee of the CPSU, the Council of Ministers of the USSR, the All-Union Central Council of Trade Unions and the Central Committee of the All-Union Leninist Young Communist League awarded the staff of the Karaganda Order of the Red Banner of Labor “Crossing Red Banner” of the Polytechnic Institute for achieving the highest results in the All-Union socialist competition, for improving production efficiency and quality of work, and for successfully fulfilling the economic and social development plan for 1979.
A visit to the museum leaves an indelible impression on first-year students. Contact with the history of the university awakens pride and a sense of responsibility in students.
