From January 8 to January 10, the inter-faculty sports contest “Vigor and Health” among the teaching staff was held at the sports complex of Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University.
Competitions were held in two sports – chess and table tennis.
Such events are an effective promotion of a healthy lifestyle. As always, the university’s faculty took an active part in the sports contest.
According to its results, Andrey Rozhkov, a senior lecturer at the Department of Building Materials and Technologies, became the winner of the chess competition.
The second place was shared by Nurlan Oshanov, Senior lecturer at the Department of History of Kazakhstan, and Yuri Pak, Professor at the Department of Geology and Exploration of Mineral Deposits.
The third place was taken by the teacher of the department of “Physical Education” Medet Madiyarov.
In the table tennis competitions, the first place was taken by the PhD of the Department of “Automation of Production Processes” Valery Ivanov. Alexander Taranov, Candidate of Technical Sciences of the Department of Energy Systems, took the second place; and Ernur Isabaev, senior lecturer at the Department of Physical Education, took the third place.
