On February 13, 2015 hosted the conference “Implementation of the programs of academic mobility” in Karaganda state technical University and presentation of the student clubs of the Committee on educational work of the trade union of students of KSTU “Zhas Orda”.
The conference was attended by Zhautikova Saltanat Akhatovna – Head of Department for development of the Bologna process; Kasenova Saltanat Kairatovna – methodologist of the Department of International relations; Dionys Marcinkevichus – undergraduate of the programs of the organization of international transportation, Board member and head of the Commission on questions of the students in the Senate (Lithuania, Vilnius); Maksimova Alina – Head of the student club “Let’s study”; Kasymova Asel – Head of the student club “Wanna Say”; Meirambekova Asel – Head of the student club “the Kazakh language for beginners”.
During the conference the following issues were considered: the purpose and direction of the academic mobility; participation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Bologna process, which aims – improving access to European education, to further improve its quality and increase the mobility of students and teaching staff; the main principles of the Bologna Declaration, successfully implemented in KSTU.
The speeches were reported in detail on internal and external mobility of students, the results of the contracts, agreements and memorandums with foreign universities in 20 countries, successful completion of training 11 students of KSTU abroad during the fall semester of the 2014-2015 academic year.
Experience of academic mobility shared conference – Dionysus, Marcinkevicius – the student of Vilnius Gediminas technical University. Gediminas (tech). Tech takes 1st place on academic mobility among higher education institutions in Lithuania (there are about 800 students from foreign countries) and participates in the Bologna process. Dionysus interesting story about Lithuania, the activities of the University and student community, and events. I want to thank him and wish him success in his future endeavors.
Representatives of student clubs of KSTU made a call for participation of students in improvement of the knowledge.
The reports of the participants of the conference were presented in the form of presentations, videos, aimed at raising awareness among students about the international cooperation of KSTU with foreign universities-partners, and conducting student clubs, courses for learning Kazakh and English languages, the assimilation of certain disciplines.
The conference was held in a warm friendly atmosphere exchange of experience, discussions are important for students ‘ questions. Everyone looked forward to holding similar events in the future with the expansion of the subject matter and geography.
