For more than a month, World Winter Universiade has finished, but the results continue to excite both professionals and sports enthusiasts. One of such results is especially important for our University. The University was among the winners of the contest “Support the Universiade”, held in our Southern Capital.
The event was held under the auspices of the Association of universities of RK and Department for youth policy of Almaty with the support of the newspaper “Vecherniy Almaty”. Through this competition the students of Kazakhstan universities have developed various chants, slogans, videos, and selfies, designed to support our athletes at home games. The volunteers of the Association of student organizations of KSTU “Zhas Orda” presented their works from polytechnic university. In the end, the team entered the top ten winners of the contest, and apart from KSTU this result was reached by two non-Almaty Universities UKFI and Kozybayev SKSU. The rest of the winners were students of southern capital universities.
Karaganda team was awarded a medal and Honorary diploma “Best cheerleader”.
