At the Department of “Mine Aerology and Labor Protection” of the Mining Faculty of Karaganda Technical University, various activities are held. One of these areas is charity. Charity is a real manifestation of virtue in meeting the needs of those in need, one of the unique qualities of humanity. The moral qualities of a person in relation to a person reflect pure intent and a benevolent step. This year, the teaching staff of the department provided social assistance to those in need.
The charity event was organized by the head of the Department, Ph.D., Associate Professor N.R. Zholmaganbetov. In accordance with the “Ensuring the growth of the number of students involved in the activities of the student charity movement “Akniet” to support children in orphanages and boarding schools in 2020 by 20% of their total number”, on December 3, 2021, on behalf of students of groups and teachers of the department, Medeubaev N.A., Konakbaev E.K. and a laboratory assistant of the department Uali N.M. visited a single mother with many children, a resident of the village Doskey of the Karaganda region, on behalf of students of groups and teachers of the department. Within the framework of the event, senior curator of the department N.A. Medeubaev noted that it is pleasant for people to help each other in difficult times.
The main purpose of the event is an in-depth acquaintance of students studying in the specialty “Life safety and environmental protection” with the activities of the student charity movement “Akniet” to support children in orphanages and boarding schools.
Our people have a catch phrase: “Whoever has generous hands, all roads are open to him.” The teachers of the department consider it a humane duty to sacrifice to those who need help.
